Ordering Films
and Videos
Use our shopping cart system, which works with PayPal, or print out our online
order form, and then fax or mail it to us. List the title(s) and format(s)--16mm
film, Beta, DVD or VHS.
All sales must be prepaid by check, money order, or credit card or PayPal.
Purchase orders are accepted only from Universities, Colleges, Corporations, and
Government Agencies when printed on institutional letterhead. Those
requesting community group discounts must contact TWN at
twn@twn.org.
Purchases
Program purchases are for non-commercial use only. Programs purchased by public
libraries are restricted to library screening and loan to authorized card
holders.
Previews
Previews are available
for $25, payable by credit card only. If not returned within 15 days, the preview
will be considered a sale, and your credit card will automatically be charged the
full sale price of the film.
Seven day evaluation
previews are available to schools, libraries and other nonprofit institutions with
budgets for audio-visual purchases, to journalists and publications that review
film and video, to festivals and competitions, and to media programmers for specific
programs that exhibit or air film and video. Previewers must have purchased, presented,
or reviewed at least two TWN programs in the previous year. All preview requests
must be made in writing, and must specify preferred preview date(s).
International Sales
Email us at twn@twn.org to get
a price quote for the shipping charges to international destinations. All international
sales must be prepaid.
Rental Information
Rentals are available
for 16mm prints, Betas and DVD. Please contact distribution@twn.org
for special arrangements
for previews for festivals, programming or licensing.
Orders should
be placed 4-8 weeks before your screening date. Additional charges apply for more
than one screening, special shipping requests, international shipments and rush
orders.
Discounts are
available for most programs slated for community-based audiences and multiple screenings.
All requests for discounts must be in writing and will be awarded on the basis of
expressed need and community service. Discounts are also available to high schools
and public libraries.
Screenings where
admission is charged, and other commercial screenings, are usually charged a minimum
rental versus a percentage of the box office. Program purchases are for non-commercial use only. Programs purchased by public
libraries are restricted to library screenings and loan to authorized card
holders.
Returns
An order may be cancelled before fulfillment and shipping.
Returns for a full refund are accepted within 30 days of purchase. However, if an order is cancelled after
30 days, a 15%
restocking charge may be applied. This does not apply to returns of
defective or damaged materials. Please contact
twn@twn.org for a return authorization before returning any item.
Shipping and Insurance Information
A minimum shipping and handling fee of $20.00 per title is charged for all
program, previews, rentals and sales.There is an additional fee for 16mm films
over 60 minutes. Orders are normally shipped by UPS ground. Other shipping
arrangements are available at additional cost. All rentals and previews must be
returned on the working day following the screening via UPS or Priority Mail.
Delay in the return of programs will result in additional fees. All shipments
must be insured. For videos of any length, insure for $100; for films of 30
minutes or less, insure for $200; for films up to one hour, insure for $300; for
films over one hour, insure for $400 unless otherwise specified. Users are
liable for these replacement costs in the event of loss or damage. Some rare,
lengthy or costly programs will have special shipping and insurance
instructions.
Care Of Prints, DVDs and Tapes
The program users will be held responsible for any damage to rental prints, DVDs
or tapes while in their possession and may be charged for their repair or
replacement. Before screening films, make sure to clean and thread the
projector(s) properly and to use reliable projection equipment and operators.
Never attempt to repair films, or use scotch tape on any part of any film! Care
should be taken to protect all programs from dust, heat and moisture. No
duplication is allowed! Any attempt to duplicate materials could permanently
damage video equipment.
Photographs
and Publicity Materials
Catalogues, photographs,
posters and other publicity materials are available for most programs upon request.
Fees are charged in some cases; and the reprinting of all photographs is restricted.

protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Code and may not be copied, duplicated,resold, televised, transmitted, leased or rented to others without written permission.
